Home Aide CNA Training Center offers the HCA Alternative 'Bridge' CNA Program. Our mission is to equip students with professional skills to serve the community with integrity, honesty, and dedication.

The 36-hour bridge program builds on the 75 hours of education completed by Home Care Aides, preparing them to become Certified Nursing Assistants. The program includes classroom learning, practice labs, and clinical experience.

Admission

Admission Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be physically able to perform nursing assistant duties.
  • 75-hour Home Care Aide Certificate and CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Pass background check prior to class start date.
  • Negative 2-Step TB test or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 months required.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination may be required for fall, winter, and early spring sessions.
  • Negative Covid test result required before clinical rotation.
